New York City Guide | 5 NYC Coffee Shops You NEED To Try

Well its true, you can call me a coffee connoisseur. Finding the best, ”Instagram worthy” coffee shops in town is one of my favorite past times. This summer I spent much of my time working remotely, so I had plenty of time to search around for shops that had the best coffee, decor, and vibes in both Manhattan & Brooklyn and I’ll be sharing some of them with you today!

1. Devoción- 276 Livingston St. Downtown Brooklyn

Did someone say concrete JUNGLE?? Devoción in downtown Brooklyn has major nature and jungle vibes. It‘s a great place to escape the craziness of the city and relax with your morning cup of joe in the beauty of nature. Not to mention they have some of the best Columbian coffee in the city.

2. Devoción Flatiron- 25 E 20th Street

Well, I loved the Devoción so much in Brooklyn, I had to check out another one of their four locations. This one here is right near the Flatiron Building. A bit smaller and quaint compared to their other locations, but they still offer a great atmosphere and delicious coffee for your needs!

3. Corvo Coffee- 270 W39 Street

I accidentally came across this little gem in the city, and boy I am not mad about it. Just about every item on their menu is $2.00, unlike most "caffeineries" in the city. Hot Coffee? $2.00. Iced Latte? Cappuccino? Macchiato? Yes, only $2.00. Not to mention, all their coffee and espresso products are by LaColombe. So next time you need a caffeine fix, try one that costs less than your subway fare!

4. Neighbor's Cafe- 60 Furman St, Brooklyn, NY 11201

Located in the lobby of the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, Neighbor's Cafe, is another coffee spot that is inspired by nature and instantly gives of peaceful and chill vibes. At this location, you get to enjoy a view of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Financial District in Manhattan. In addition, this shop is right next to Brooklyn Bridge Park, where you can spend the afternoon enjoying the beautiful outdoors or you can head upstairs to Harriet's Rooftop for lunch and delicious drinks.

5. Joe & the Juice

This place is one of my favorite juice and coffee shops in the city, and you can find them in just about any area of the city. Each location is uniquely different and offer plenty of "Instagram worthy" photo ops. They offer a variety of fresh pressed juices, smoothies, coffee, and espresso products. While on more of the expensive side for coffee, it definitely worth the splurge.
