New York City Guide | 5 Fun Instagram Locations in New York City

BACK here again with another post on some places in New York City to get great photos to level up your Instagram game! Most of these locations are great during non-peak hours (just like all of photogenic places in NYC) - that is, early morning and evenings. However, knowing that those hours don't always appeal to everyone, it is completely possible to get great shots during the day, when more people are around. Many of the photos here, in fact, are taken during the day, when its been pretty busy out. You just have to catch the right moment and be respectful and patient with everyone around!

1. Soho Luxury Storefronts- Greene Street, New York, NY 10012

Greene Street, in between Prince St. and Spring St., is a beautiful strip that runs through Soho, housing many of your favorite luxury stores with beautiful cast-iron architecture and brick streets. This location is great for snapping a few pics in your best streetwear.

2. Graffiti art/ Street Art

New York City is FILLED with graffiti and all sorts of street art. There are endless opportunities to find a beautifully curated mural or just some spray painted words and shapes that give off an edgy vibe for your photos.

3. Little Italy- 164 Mott St. New York, NY 10012

In Little Italy, you can find amazing views with the One World Freedom Tower in it. This location specifically is right down the street from Two Hands Cafe, which is a wonderful place to grab a bite to eat and catch a great picture on your way out!

4. Brooklyn Bridge

With any trip to New York, you have to make the walk across NYC’s most iconic bridge. There are great Instagram worthy spots to take a few pics throughout the whole bridge. I recommend starting from the Brooklyn side and walking into Manhattan so you’ll have city views the entire time! If you want very little crowds, make it a relaxing morning and walk it during the sunrise! What a better way to get the day started and take in some breathtaking city views!

5. Flatiron Building- 175 5th Ave, New York, NY 10010

You cannot miss a photo op in front of New York's Flatiron building. The area is beautifully landscaped during the summer with tons of flowers and plants, adding photogenic appeal! This landmark is a hotspot for tourists and can get very busy during the day. If you want to see less of a crowd, the best time to go is early in the morning.

Hope you enjoyed! If this was helpful, take a second to save & share to your NYC Pinterest boards!
