New York City Guide | Instagram Worthy Lunch Locations in NYC

New York City has endless options when it comes to restaurants and cafes, and to choose one to eat at may be one of the hardest challenges of your day. Thankfully for my love of food (and dedication to the 'gram), I have come up with a list of some great lunch locations, that also double for a great Instagram op! Check them out!

1. Pietro Nolita- 174 Elizabeth St, New York, NY 10012

Get your girlie on at Pietro Nolita. This little pink cafe offers delicious, I mean DELICIOUS and healthy, Italian cuisine. I originally just went here for the great photo op but then decided to try out their food as well and I was quite pleased. What I loved about this place, was their effort to make their dishes healthy yet extremely unique. I ordered their egg sandwich, something I wouldn't usually choose to eat for lunch, but the sandwich left my taste buds loving every bite!

2. Picnic in Central Park

Eating out in New York can really do some damage on your bank account, so if you're looking for a healthy, cost-effective, and a beautiful view for lunch, choose a nice day and picnic in Central Park. Stop by a Trader Joe's, a local bodega, or market and pick up some food, take a walk through the park and find a spot with a great view, and eat! There are so many places to sit back, relax, and snap a quick pic. You won't be disappointed.

3. RH Rooftop Restaurant New York- 9 9th Ave, New York, NY 10014

RH Rooftop Restaurant is a fabulous rooftop offering American cuisine with undeniably beautiful chandeliers, greenery & skyline views! While a little more on the expensive side, treat yourselves to a wonderful, classy experience. If your not looking to spend a ton of money on a meal, you can simply explore the whole building, because this location is connected to the Restoration Hardware Gallery, which is filled with beautifully staged upscale furniture, lighting, decor, and more!

4. Sel Rrose- 1 Delancey St, New York, NY 10002

Sel Rrose, is a rustic-chic French-inspired restaurant with smaller plates and beautiful cocktails. If you want a picture in their chic outside seating, I recommend going anytime before 5pm. If you call ahead to make a reservation and request their outdoor seating right by they door, they can typically accommodate!

5. Grand Banks- Pier 25 Hudson River Park, New York, NY 10013

Ahoy mate! Grand Banks is a unique spot where you can hangout of the deck of a historic boat while you enjoy delicious cocktails, wines, and smaller plates! If you are one to get sea sick, this option may not be for you, seeing as the boat does rock a bit while docked (depending how wavy it is in the water). However, it is quite the experience if you love the nautical atmosphere! Theres a stunning view of Tribecca and New Jersey from across the water.

6. Tacombi- 267 Elizabeth St, New York, NY 10012

Calling all taco lovers!! Tacombi is an hip taqueria with top notch tacos and Mexican cuisine. The hip industrial space brings the fiesta indoors. You can find steel picnic tables, vintage VW buses, and colorful strings of bulbs, great for any kind of vintage instagram photo opportunity.

7. Meadowsweet-149 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11211

Meadowsweet is a quaint Mediterranean and American-influenced restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with a cute, comfortable outdoor seating area. Inside is decorated with an indoor hanging herb garden at the bar, which they use for their creative cocktails and dishes. I recommend eating outside for better lighting and the rustic trees in the back. Again, if you call ahead, they can usually accommodate your request to enjoy their outdoor space.

Hope you enjoyed! Feel free to save & share to your NYC Pinterest boards!
